Timeless Forest Adult Brass Urn

Trees run around the body of this brass urn in the Forest finish, a continuous woodland rather than a single panel on the front, so there is no wrong way to set it on a shelf. The form is the standard tall vase, 10.5 inches high on a 6.5 inch square base. It opens at the top.

At 228 cubic inches this is on the larger side of adult sizing and suits someone up to about 228 lb, using the one-cubic-inch-per-pound rule. The extra room matters more than people expect: an urn filled to the brim is awkward to close, and the headroom here means the transfer is not a fight. It sits well on a mantel and takes a burial vault without modification.

• 228 cu in leaves headroom above a 200 lb adult, easing the transfer
• Motif wraps the full body, so it looks finished from any angle
• Engraving is offered as a paid add-on, though the wrapped motif leaves less clear space than a plain urn
