Cardboard and plastic sounds unpromising until you know what the urn is for. This is a burial and water piece, built to hold its shape while it is carried and then to break down once it is in the ground or in the water. Nothing about it is meant to last on a shelf.
Capacity is 220 cubic inches, which covers an adult up to about 220 pounds. It opens at the top, so the ashes can be transferred in at the graveside or at home beforehand. If it is going into water, launch it from a low deck or a beach rather than dropping it from height, and give it a moment to settle before it starts to soften.
- Plastic in the build means not every green burial ground will accept it; check with the cemetery
- Made to break down, so it is not intended for long-term display
- Free ground shipping over $200; keep the urn dry indoors until the day, as the cardboard softens once wet

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
