Tradition Brass Urn

Solid brass, spun into the shape most people picture when they hear the word urn: rounded body, short neck, domed lid. There is no motif and no color on it, only the metal and its polish. That is the point of it: nothing on the outside argues with anything else in the room.

Capacity is 220 cubic inches, enough for an adult up to about 220 pounds. At 10.5 inches tall it sits comfortably on a mantel and fits most columbarium niches. The lid comes off the top, so filling is done upright with the urn on a table rather than turned over, and the ashes go in still sealed in the bag they arrive in.
