Windsor Keepsake Large Dog / Cat Urn

Standing seven inches tall on a 4 by 5 inch base, this wood urn is upright rather than boxy, which makes it easier to place on a narrow shelf or a mantel edge. The wood is finished smooth and left largely undecorated, so it reads as furniture rather than as a memorial piece from across the room.

Filling happens from underneath through the bottom opening, so the top stays sealed and the seam does not show once it is set down. Match the urn to your pet by weight, allowing about 1 cubic inch of interior room for each pound, and this size covers most large dogs. Turn it over on a towel-covered table when you fill it, then hand-tighten the plate.
