Windsor Large Pet Urn

Seven and a half inches long, five and three eighths deep and four inches tall, this is the largest of the Windsor wood urns and the one families buy for a full-size dog. The wood is left plain, with no motif and no metal, so the grain does all the work.

Size is the reason to choose it. Ashes take up about one cubic inch for every pound your dog weighed, which puts a retriever, a shepherd or a boxer inside this range and a spaniel well below it. Measure the shelf too: at four inches tall it needs clearance, and it is heavy enough that a narrow ledge is a bad idea. The opening type is not listed for this size, so ask us first if that matters to how you plan to fill it.
