Thera Forest Aluminum Urn

Trees run around the body of this aluminum urn, which stands 9.25 inches tall and 7 inches across at its widest point. Aluminum gives it real weight in the hand at a fraction of what brass costs, and the surface takes the forest pattern cleanly. The effect is closer to a landscape than to decoration.

Capacity is 200 cubic inches, so at about one cubic inch per pound it covers an adult up to roughly 200 pounds. It fills through the top: the lid lifts off and goes back on without the urn ever being turned over. Home display, a columbarium niche, or burial all work, though for burial the lid should be sealed before it goes in the ground.
