Stone is the heaviest material we carry, and that is the point: it won't tip and it won't blow over, and granite in particular takes rain and frost without damage. Plan on a two-hand lift, and check niche dimensions and weight limits before ordering. Capacity follows the usual rule at about one cubic inch per pound of body weight before death, so a 200 lb adult needs at least 200 cu in. Deep-cut lettering suits granite better than marble.
