Walnut Urns

Rich, dark walnut, chosen for its deep tone and fine grain. These pair especially well with engraved nameplates or a simple wood-base pairing.

Walnut is a dense hardwood, heavier and darker than oak, and it hides marks better than a polished metal finish does. It belongs indoors, on a mantel, a shelf or in a lined niche, rather than buried or left outside. Size on body weight before death at roughly one cubic inch per pound, so a 200 cu in walnut urn fits an adult up to about 200 lb. Most fill through a screwed base panel that comes off with a small screwdriver.
