Wood is the easiest full-size urn to live with day to day: light enough to move, quiet on a shelf, and it takes an engraved plate or an etched name cleanly. It is not a burial material, since it breaks down in soil within a few years, so choose stone or metal if the urn is going into the ground. Size by body weight before death at about one cubic inch per pound, so a 200 cu in urn fits an adult up to roughly 200 lb.
